Visit as a supporter or join one of the initiations

With this tournament we want to further promote Shou Bo in the region. The sport was introduced in Belgium by sifu Dirk Crokaert in the 90s and further developed by his students in Ternat. In order to introduce even more people to our very accessible martial arts discipline, we decided to organize the world championship.

It is not often that such a tournament takes place in Belgium. A unique opportunity to come and cheer on our athletes and get to know the sport.

On Saturday the 5th of April, visitors are welcome for free and can also come and follow an initiation and try out Shou Bo. The finals and semi-finals will take place on Sunday the 6th of April and a child-friendly tournament for the youth will also be introduced for the first time.

In collaboration with the Flemish Wushu Federation and The Wushu Family, a modern wushu competition will also be organised and practitioners of other Chinese martial arts (wushu or kung fu) can also participate in an ‘open mat’ formula.
